Cave visit with tasting
During summer evenings, Mount Corchia offers the highest and coolest tastings in all of Versilia. On the terrace in front of the cave entrance, surrounded by the coolness and greenery of the mountains and overlooking the valley that slopes down to the sea, you can enjoy a selection of typical Versilian products accompanied by bottles of Ipogeo Wine aged in the cave. There are three types of wine: Red, White, and Sparkling, from small artisanal wineries, aged in a cellar carved out of a stone niche inside the Antro del Corchia, over a hundred meters into the mountain.

"IPOGEO" WINE
The enormous marble belly of Mount Corchia also conceals a small cellar, carved out of a natural niche inside the cave, where several hundred bottles of wine are placed to age each year.
The wine, provided by small artisanal producers and made from vineyards cultivated on the maritime slopes of the Apuan Alps, takes on the name “Ipogeo Wine” after a period of aging in the cave.
